an oldie but a goodie

hadn't really hung out there for more than a drink in a long time but on Saturday I hung out at 5 Paces Inn which is on Irby right across from the Pool Hall. We got there around 10:45 and the place was ridiculously crowded. However we were able to find refuge back by the Golden Tee and bathrooms untill things thinned out a little bit. Obviously internet jukeboxes are a ripoff but someone had to step up and put on some Elvis in honor of what would have been his 70th Birthday. So the Deer God comes through in the clutch and puts on 5 songs. Something alongs the lines of Devil in Disguise, Suspicous Minds, Houndog, Jailhouse Rock, and Viva Las Vegas.

Also as always stopped by the Hot Dog Stand outside of CJ's Landing on Buckhead Ave. It may seem a little rough for some but I always feel a sense of unity when people of many different races are all standing around drunk united by their hunger. Plus in my mind it gives me street cred.
